Among those who founded 4x4 Challenges are those like...

Eileen Austin has managed the scoring process on many occasions and has been club secretary since its inception.

George Palmer has marshaled, worked on the rules, set courses and been involved consistently at many levels, including as the current President.

Howard Nattrass was involved in the rules committee which includes the setting of vehicle standards, along with having managed the vehicle scrutineering at many events.

John Walker who has marshaled, competed, scrutineered and been an event director through many events as well as being the convener of the rules committee.

Peter Vahry has been involved with the organising of many events which includes being event director. He's also on the rules committee and is a past-president of the club.

Simon Bishop is a another who has consistently been involved in event management.

Everyone involved with 4x4 Challenges NZ have contributed greatly and those not directly mentioned deserve equal credits.
