Where are we going?

I think we need to set a 5 year plan for 4x4 Challenges.
There has been a lot of progress towards a national set of rules and a national final, does this mean we aim towards a national body that is a combination of the Mainland guys and 4x4 ch and the 2 idenpendant bodies are disolved? Or do we keep things seperate with a national rules organisations and have a seperate body to administer each island? Or do we just keep going like we are?
4x4 Challenges was set up to promote and develop the sport and if the way foward is to disolve it as a club and create a new national body to take it's (and the Mainland club) place then lets talk about want people think and want.
I can see advantages to both but wonder whether one body with representatives from both islands is the way to really get things moving?
This is not about saying anyone is doing anything better than anyone else or telling people what to do, it is about planning for the future and where we want the sport to be. If we have a goal then we can make decisions based on whether they get us closer to the goal or not.

I don't really care what the politics are from years gone by as they are in the past, let look foward and set some goals to enable us to have more and better races as ultimately that is all I care about!
