The AGM was held a couple of weeks before the Rotorua winch challenge this year and the next will be around June next year. We are just planning a general meeting for sometime early next month.
Do you something specific you want discussed?

That sounds like a Tui ad! Yeah right!

The chances of getting a truck load of people to a meeting to discuss things, even with the feeling that is coming out is virtually zero. People get all vocal here then don't turn up at a meeting, then complain when it isn't what they want!

Or maybe if the proposed changes are so bad people will get off their ass and tell us what they want?

More the merrier I say!

However if you aren't a member you can't vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The timing of any meeting is critical. To have an AGM two weekends before an event is a sure fire way of ensuring people don't turn up. I asked for an agenda for the 2009 AGM 6 days in advance, yet the agenda wasn't publicised until 4:30pm on the Friday before the AGM. We had to make the call whether to attend or go have a shake-down in the truck. The two other trucks out with us that day (so 6 competitors and 4x4Challenge members) had to make the same call also!

We are trying to sort out a weekend next month for a meeting. Looks like the 6th is about it at present due to Christmas. Anyone have thoughts onn that?
It will be to have the rules review and discuss classes etc.
