New 'Stowing the winch cable' penalty and interpretation
The 'stowing the winch cable' penalty caused some confusion over the last competition year largely due to the wording of the rule leaving room for various interpretations. Because of this, the rules committee have developed a new rule in an attempt to eliminate confusion and simplify the application of this rule. Read more

New Winch Challenge Rules released for 2009
The 4x4 Challenges rules committee have completed and released a further developed set of the well proven Winch Challenge competition rules to be used in 2009. Rule changes include; a required battery isolation switch, allowing the use of 4x4 Challenges log books, and a re-developed ‘Stowing the winch cable’ penalty. Read more

4x4 Challenges meeting - 11th October 2008
Darin Neeley elected as new President, as well as a new rules committee formed under leadership of Jack Talbot. The main topic of conversation was what was needed to form a series in 2010 and steps towards co-operating with Mainland Winch Challenges to create a national final. Read more
