General Business

• Roll cages – need to be sorted before the NorWest event. Discussion on the size of pipe and what is the minimum requirement. Howard has concern about the wording of rules that states you must have documented proof. The two options of how to obtain proof of compliance read out by John Walker. Howard bought up 2 variations of cages built to ORANZ specs that at present need to be accepted.
• Cargo barriers – rules are ambiguous for utility vehicles. Everything in cab must be secured down.
• Event director and scrutineer have last say on what is acceptable
• John discussed a variation of a competitor’s vehicle that has been accepted at 2 previous event. He wants to be accepted at the next event,

There are 4 choices at present that suit different types of vehicles.

Roll cage Advisory to be reviewed and posted on website.
Discussion on how this applies to the current vehicles.

• Training video – Marshall and competitor video to be put together. Could be done at NorWest event. Malcolm to be approached by John.
• Website – needs to be now paid for as now a job
